A Quacking 'Thank you'

This year's August bank holiday event raised a massive £2,643 for St Mary's Hall and saw races won by ducks with owners from as far afield as Brighton.

Hundreds of race-goers made the whole afternoon a storming success, with stalls, barbecue, bar and tombola keeping people busy between races. The "Race Your Own Duck" race featured 77 bathtime buddies brought along on the day.

Thanks go to everyone who helped on the day, all the race sponsors and for everyone who bought ducks. The Great Overton Duck Race takes place each year with the kind permission of Portals Properties and all proceeds go to St Mary's Hall.
