Olympic Torch Relay

Did you know that the Olympic Torch came through Overton in 1948? To divert the route to come along the B3400 and see this scene repeated, it has been agreed to petition Sebastian Coe and the Olympic and Paraolympic Committee. It is hoped that the revised route will come through Overton, Laverstoke, Whitchurch and Hurstbourne Priors before going to Sutton Scotney.
