Overton Halls

Overton Community Centre

Situated at the junction of Winchester Street and High Street in the centre of the village and run by the Overton Community Association and houses the playgroup and Library as well as being the meeting place for a number of clubs and societies.

St Luke's Hall

St Luke's Hall is situated on the eastern side of Winchester Street, adjacent to number 47. It was completely refurbished and upgraded internally in Autumn 2010 and is now used for a range of activities, including dancing classes, music classes, slimming courses, short mat bowls and private parties - as well as being the polling station for election purposes.

St Mary's Hall

Situated on the north side of High Street, St Mary's Hall is owned by the parish council and run by the St Mary's Hall Management Sub-Committee. The Choral Society, badminton clubs and Basingstoke Community Church use the hall. The Overton Dramatic Society put on a productions twice a year. The hall has been beautifully renovated and is fully licensed to serve alcohol and provide all forms of entertainment. The committee is encouraging new bookings, including wedding receptions, workshops and special events such as plays and bands. The garden is a lovely venue for a
party, barbecue or reception.

Bridge Street Pavilion

Situated at the north end of Bridge Street (access via Church Road) and run by the Overton Recreation Centre this is home to the Overton United Sport and Social Club; the pavilion also provides a meeting room for an exercise class, Pilates, art, drama and a photographic club.
